Outdoor Stranded Loose Tube Corrugated Steel Tape Armored UG Duct Fiber Optic Cable Single PE Sheath 2-288 Core GYFTS/ GYTS
Single Jacket Steel Tape Armored Optical Fiber Cable is specifically designed for outdoor duct (pipe) laying scenarios (e.g., buried underground pipelines, municipal utility tunnels) and integrates mechanical protection, environmental resistance, and stable signal transmission. This kind of cable also can be used for Non-self-supporting Aerial laying which needs additional messenger support.
Cable Structure:
The 2-288 fibers are positioned in loose tubes made of high modulus plastic (PBT) and filled with gel. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength member (FRP or Steel Wire) to form the cable core. Then an Corrugated Steel Tape (CST) is armored longitudinally around the cable core, which is filled with water blocking compound. Finally a PE or LSZH jacket is extruded.
