GY(F)TC8A Aerial Self-supporting Figure-8 Outdoor Optical Fiber Cable
The 2~288 fibers are positioned in PBT loose tubes filled with tube gel. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a central strength member (Steel or FRP) to form a cable core.The core is filled with water-blocking compound and armored with aluminum tape. Stranded steel wires support as the messenger. Finally, a figure-8 PE outer jacket is extruded.
