GYFT(Z)Y is a non-metallic, non-armored fiber optic cable widely used in aerial (overhead) and duct (underground/conduit) transmission scenarios. It is designed to balance mechanical performance, environmental resistance, and cost-effectiveness, making it a core choice for access networks, metropolitan area networks (MANs), and rural communication infrastructures.

Cable Structure:

The fibers are positioned in loose tubes made of high modulus plastic (PBT) and filled with gel. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the non-metallic strength member (FRP) to form the cable core, which is filled with water blocking compound. Finally a PE or LSZH jacket is extruded.

If need Anti-Rodent performance, additional Glass Yarn non-metallic strength member will be applied in the cable core.
