High Quality Low Attenuation Water Peak Zero Dispersion G657A1 G652D Communication Single-Mode Fiber

Product Description

 

G. 652.D single mode optical fiber is designed specially for optical transmission systems operating over the entire wavelength window from 1260nm to 1625nm. By suppressing the water peak that occurs near 1383nm in conventional single mode fibre due to hydroxyl (OH-) ions absorption, the fiber is able to open E-band (1360-1460nm) for operation, and consequently provides 100nm more usable wavelengths.   It optimizes attenuation and dispersion across the entire wavelength window from 1260nm to 1625nm, also reduces bending loss at L-band (1565nm~1625nm),  and provides bandwidth resources for trunk, metropolitan area and access network.
 

Characteristics

(2) Designed for operation over 1260nm to 1625nm wavelength spectrum.
(3) Outstanding optical performance supporting high-speed transmission requirement of DWDM and CWDM.
(4) Excellent PMD performance, supporting high-speed and long repeater spacing transmission system.
(5) Compatible with existing 1310nm equipment.
 

Application

 

(1) Application for all kinds of configuration of optical fiber cables: central loose tube, stranded loose tube, backbones fiber optics, ribbon fiber optics, ADSS, OPGW etc.
(2)Low dispersion , attenuation and PMD  enables higher transmission speeds with more wavelengths over Long-haul Trunks Communication, CATV and WDM.
