Direct Buried Cables are specifically designed for installation in harsh underground environments for outdoor use. It integrates multiple protective layers and a steel tape armor structure to resist external mechanical damage, moisture, corrosion, and soil pressure—making it a ideal solution for long-distance, underground optical communication networks.

CST Armored Direct Buried Fiber Cable GYTY53, GYFTY53

The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic and filled with gel. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member (steel wire or FRP) to form the cable core. Then the cable core is filled with water-blocking compound and covered with  a PE inner jacket. After the corrugated steel tape (CST) is longitudinally armored over the inner jacket, the cable is completed with a PE outer jacket.

APL+CST Double Armored Direct Buried Fiber Cable GYTA53, GYFTA53

The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic and filled with gel. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member (Steel wire or FRP) to form the cable core. An Aluminum tape(APL) is applied around the  core, which is filled with the water-blocking compound. Then the cable core is covered with a PE inner jacket. After the corrugated steel tape (CST) is longitudinally armored over the inner jacket, the cable is completed with a PE outer jacket.

Double Armor Key Functions:
- Anti-compression: Withstands heavy loads (e.g., vehicle traffic, soil pressure in deep burial).
- Anti-tension: Enhances tensile strength for long-distance pulling (e.g., horizontal directional drilling).
